A trip to Little Exuma is incomplete without a stop at Santanna's Bar and Grill. It was a favorite of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' cast during filming, and for good reason. The atmosphere is authentically Bahamian and incredibly welcoming.
Santanna's Bar and Grill
Order the cracked lobster or the grilled snapper for a true taste of the sea. Everything is caught fresh and prepared with authentic local spices. The view from the deck over the ironshore is spectacular, especially as the waves roll in.
Mom's Bakery
Just a few steps away from Santanna's is Mom's Bakery. Look for the small wooden sign in front of her house. You MUST try the coconut bread or the rum cake. Mom is a local legend, and her recipes have been perfected over decades.

- Location: William's Town, Little Exuma (approx. 30-40 mins from George Town).
- Hours: Typically Monday–Saturday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Closed Sundays).

- Payment: Cash is king, though some cards may be accepted when the machine is cooperating.
Pro Tip
Call ahead to see if Mom has a fresh batch of bread coming out of the oven. There's nothing like a warm loaf of coconut bread for the drive back to Great Exuma. It makes for an excellent breakfast the next morning as well.
